HISTORY
Whitney Hood Gesner – President, Hood Enterprises & Managing Broker/Owner, Hood Realty Company
Whitney Hood Gesner is a life-long resident of Huntington, WV, graduating from Huntington High School and Marshall University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). She then attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Health Services Administration (MHA). After returning to Huntington, she spent over a decade working in administrative positions at King’s Daughters Medical Center and Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, KY.
In 2011, Whitney became a licensed real estate agent in West Virginia and began her career representing buyers and sellers in Cabell County. Whitney became a licensed real estate broker in 2016 in the states of West Virginia and Georgia and the state of Ohio in 2019. She is a member of Huntington Board of Realtors, West Virginia Board of Realtors and the National Board of Realtors.
